The Calling
Hearts Abandoned was founded out of a calling into the ministry that the Lord put on my heart as I started journaling out loud my thoughts when I walked. I called it, "Walking Thoughts" …started on Social Media. It blossomed into messages/teachings and visions of what was yet to come....thus, Hearts Abandoned was birthed - as my desire was to stand on a roof top or mountain top and SHOUT to the LORD my gratitude for everything He has done for and IN me!!
As the worship song lyric states: ..."so I stand with arms wide and heart abandoned"....♥
An abandonment of my heart towards Him after surviving a LOT of hardships in my life - I owe everything to Jesus!!
I am committed to what He has for me to fulfill in my remaining time here on this earth.
The Ministry
Mission & Vision:
Hearts Abandoned exists from the deep felt Gratitude I experienced in my own personal testimony(please read in link at top right corner of Home page) ..."Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown..." Luke 7:47a
Thru that, God placed a deep desire in me to help Christians go deeper in God, in their walk and understanding, to impact the Lord's Kingdom here on earth. A REAL focus on spiritual maturity - but at the same time, reaching the lost and seeing Jesus come to life in their life as well.
Faith Statement
There is One true God - perfect in Holiness, truth and love: His Word is Alive and supreme in Authority.
The Godhead is 3 persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit - 3 in 1 and individual at the same time.
Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins - & He is alive today, interceding to the Father on our behalf.
Salvation is a free gift given by God's grace through our faith in His son, Jesus.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit is subsequent to Salvation - and the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today!!
